1. Who is responsible?

mijnwifi.be is a trading name of Demolco BV, registered office at Meersemhof 12, 9050 Ghent, Belgium, company number BE 0654.775.041.

Demolco BV is the controller for the data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@mijnwifi.be or on +32 9 283 83 83.

2. What data do we process?

We collect only what you give us yourself, plus the limited technical data needed to run the site.

We ask for no account details: this website has no registration and no login.

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
• Spam protection: when you submit the form, Google reCAPTCHA returns a score to us and we record your IP address alongside the request.
• Analytics cookies: only if you explicitly accept them. See point 6.

3. Why, and on what legal basis?

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send you commercial email unless you ask for it.

• To answer your question and prepare a quote or appointment. Legal basis: your request and the steps preceding a contract.
• To prevent abuse of the contact form. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site usable.
• To measure which pages are visited. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. How long do we keep it?

Contact form messages are kept for as long as they are useful for following up your enquiry, and afterwards in our mailbox under our usual archiving practice. If your enquiry leads to an engagement, statutory retention periods for accounting records apply, as a rule seven years.

Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for a maximum of fourteen months.

5. Who do we share it with?

We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. We do rely on service providers who process data on our behalf:

Data processing agreements are in place with these parties. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this is done on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

• Microsoft (Microsoft 365) for sending and managing our email.
• Google (reCAPTCHA and, with your consent, Analytics) for spam protection and visitor statistics.
• Google Firebase for hosting this website.

6. Cookies

By default this website sets no cookies at all. No tracking, no advertising cookie, no social media cookie.

Only after you accept analytics cookies do we load Google Analytics 4 with anonymised IP addresses. If you decline, the script is not loaded and no data reaches Google. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be changed at any time on our cookie page.

Google reCAPTCHA is loaded only when you use the contact form.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a readable format. Where you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Send your request to info@mijnwifi.be. We respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be.

8. Security

The website runs exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Contact form messages are sent straight to our mailbox and are not stored in a database on the website.

9. Changes

We may update this statement when the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
